Our club is running an event that restricts the number of golf clubs participants can use during the round. Can those scores be posted for handicapping purposes?

Scores from an event that limits players to fewer than 14 clubs cannot be posted for handicap purposes, as outlined in Clarification 2.1a/1 of the Rules of Handicapping. Although players may voluntarily carry fewer than 14 clubs under Rule 4.1b of the Rules of Golf, a restriction imposed by the event’s Terms of the Competition makes those scores unacceptable for handicap purposes.
